Spacegirl with Alien.Szekeres

Spacegirl. Done in the Mid 90s (before Disneys' Beauty and the Beast), when I did the two Dracula themed cel setups, also in my gallery here. I wanted it to look like a still from an animated movie, one that of course does not exist. This was done for fun, no other reason, and shared here in the same spirit. This has languished for years in my art drawer, but now scanned and shared here for the first time.

The background was painted separately with the characters painted on the back of a cel with xerography black line work, and hand colored line work detailing on the front, just like the old days of 2D animation. Here I was dreaming what my self devised space movie would look like...
