For this commercial, which was done primarily in 2D (by me), there was a sequence of scenes that needed to be animated in 3D, or at least have a 3D finish.

There was a 3D animator that worked at the company, but did not have the experience to animate the scene from scratch, so I animated the whole sequence of scenes in 2D, and then the 3D artist overlaid, manipulated and matched the 3D Mr Sheen character to fit my 2D drawings. The result was very effective and was indeed...3D.
