Glamour89.Sunglasses.Szekeres

This is a genuine 1989 acrylic painting of mine. It's now 21 years old, and has my old insignia on it.

I was 18-19 when I painted this, and obviously in my Nagel inspired phase.

There are other real 80's artworks in the Nagel style in my gallery:

I have always loved Nagel.

:salute:

In memory of an artist who passed on far to young.

Also, I'm still stoked with managing to buy the Nagel art book for around $25 in a second hand book store! :w00t:

Much cheers to you and yours.

Thanks, Nagel was, and is still, a significant artist. He will continue to inspire.

Thanks kindly. Almost there... but the loose hair at her forehead and at her temples/ear are a little two... scratchy and thin.

The artwork is HUGE and I think I lost perspective at that size in these areas, and so the detail here got fiddly.

Even still, it was a good work to create as an 18/19year old, even with its faults.

I think I id better in the 3 smaller Nagal inspired works:

and a recent boy with a touch of that Nagal style:

Thanks. I lived it... and survived. It was a fun crazy time when fashion seemed to be the most vulgar it could be.

I painted these with acrylic paints. I cannot remember what brand.
