Description
This is the history map for The Queen of Sheba Symbols, focussing on the full figure of the Queen.
The first thing was the head and shoulders in the circle (within the square supplied), as a thumbnail exploration of the Queens head. Beside it is the initial full figure thumbnail that i did next, to explore the full figure concept to see what else might be possible, and how much more work it might be.
Next is the rough pencil drawing, I used the forward facing head that I explored but discarded in favor of the 3/4 view in the panel artwork. I found a perfect usage for it here for I really did like the forward face.
Next is the clean line drawing of the figure, and this was a reduced photocopy that I did a tonal study on in brown tones.
The detail/larger figure is showing some of the untouched linework with the beginnings of the painting. I started with the under painting of the skintones here.
The final image is the finished artwork of the Full Figure Queen.

awesome it really looks amazing, but as far as I know, Queen of Sheba was Ethiopian (beautiful african dark skin)
